Altered States of Music

I create vivid, hallucinatory music that draws on musical traditions developed to challenge and alter our perceptions.

As a solo performer, I construct long-form improvisations using multi-track loopers, delays, and sostenuto pedals.  From May 2026, I will be touring a new solo recording Natural Light, an exploration of the power of light to evoke memory, and performed on electric guitar with the unique Soma Cosmos pedal.

In a group setting, I present my long-form improvisation trio Orb Weaver, with Gijs Levelt on trumpet and electronics, Robbert van Hulzen on drums, and Lorenzo Servali on bass.
