I am an experienced teacher.  For several years I was an instructor of jazz guitar to some of the best young Chinese guitarists at the Beijing Institute for Contemporary Music.  I have also taught music at schools, and to private students.

I can teach specialisms including:

Creative experimental use of loopers and other time-based effects

Solo 6- and 12-String acoustic guitar performance

True modal improvisation basd on Central Asian musical study

Basic, intermediate and advanced guitar technique

Free improvisation and long-form modal improvisation

I am a highly curious and adventurous musician, and my most compatible students are mostly interested in developing their own eclectic improvisational voice on the guitar. 

I can teach in person (around Amsterdam), or remotely via Forte or other similar platform.
